1. Hygroscopicity and dyeability: PP yarn is light in weight and has good heat retention; almost no moisture absorption, but strong wicking ability and obvious moisture absorption and perspiration; The moisture regain is close to zero. But it has a wicking effect, passing water vapour through the capillaries in the fabric, but does not have any absorption effect on its own. The dyeability of polypropylene dyed yarn is poor and the chromatogram is incomplete, but the method of dope dyeing can be used to make up for the deficiency;

2. Acid and alkali resistance: PP yarn has good chemical corrosion resistance. Except for concentrated nitric acid and concentrated caustic soda, polypropylene has good resistance to acid and alkali, so it is suitable for use as filter material and packaging material;
